Wow Safari Peaugres lodges: sleep above wolves and bears or face cheetahs and raccoons
Choose the animal encounter first. At Wow Safari Peaugres in Ardèche, the accommodation is divided between cabins overlooking Arctic wolves or American black bears, huts facing cheetahs, and new forest lodges with direct views of raccoons.

See the animals. Picture the night. Then compare dates.
Availability and lodge views vary. Open the official booking page, compare the exact animal-facing category and read the final package inclusions before paying.
Which animals can you observe from each accommodation?
The accommodation categories provide different views. Animals choose where to move within their habitat, so no guide or booking can guarantee that an animal will remain visible at a particular time.
| Animal experience | Accommodation | What the official description says |
|---|---|---|
| American black bears or Arctic wolves | Cabane Tribu and Cabane Lov’nid | Family or romantic cabins with a semi-covered terrace overlooking either the bear territory or the Arctic-wolf territory. Confirm the animal-facing location assigned to the exact unit before paying. |
| Arctic wolves | Cabane Tanière PMR and Cabane Meute | The accessible Tanière has a transparent terrace barrier above the wolf territory. The Meute links two family cabins for groups of up to twelve, with a large wolf-facing terrace. |
| Cheetahs | Hutte Guépard | A two-person hut with two large glazed openings and a covered panoramic terrace facing the cheetah habitat. The full package includes a small-group keeper experience. |
| Raccoons | Lodge Familial Ratons Laveurs and Lodge Racocoon PMR | Large windows and a private covered terrace face the raccoon habitat. The family lodge sleeps up to five; the accessible Racocoon is designed mainly for a couple, with one child place subject to the current conditions. |

How to choose the right animal stay
Tribu or Tanière cabins
Both sleep up to six. Choose Tanière when step-free access is essential; choose Tribu for its mezzanine play net, then confirm whether the allocated view is bears or wolves.
Cheetah Hut or Racocoon
The Cheetah Hut offers a focused big-cat panorama. Racocoon combines an accessible layout with raccoon views and is mainly configured for two adults, with a limited child sleeping option.
Lov’nid cabin
A separate round sleeping cocoon sits beside the main cabin. It is the most unusual romantic layout, while retaining bunk beds and family capacity in the cabin.
Meute cabin
Two connected family cabins provide up to twelve places, two bathrooms and two kitchenettes, with a large terrace facing Arctic wolves.

Frequently asked questions
Which animals can I see from the accommodation?
Depending on the category: Arctic wolves, American black bears, cheetahs or raccoons. Ask which habitat faces the exact unit because some cabin types can overlook either bears or wolves.
Are park tickets, dinner and breakfast included?
They are included in the full immersive package. The lighter bed-and-breakfast formula lists accommodation and breakfast, not the two-day tickets, dinner or keeper activity.
Are linen, towels, bathroom and kitchenette included?
Yes. The categories checked provide linen, towels, a private bathroom and equipment for refrigerating and reheating food. They are not full self-catering kitchens.
Can I reach the park without a car?
Yes, with advance planning. Travel via Lyon, Valence or a nearby station, then book a taxi. There is no park shuttle and the official access page says a vehicle is needed for the final connection.
